Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Interior with cello by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2020. The price achieved of SEK 310,000.00 (€ 30,873.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 300,000.00 – 325,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Vilhelm Holsøe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 167,000.00 (€ 151,240.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Interior with cello von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 310.000,00 (€ 30.873,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 300.000,00 – 325.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Vilhelm Holsøe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Artist's Wife sitting at a Window in a sunlit Room im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 167.000,00 (€ 151.240,72).
