The work Communication Series by Cang Xin was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2009. The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,001.60) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cang Xin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harmony of Nature and Human Series in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,295.74).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Communication Series von Cang Xin kam im November 2009 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.001,60) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cang Xin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harmony of Nature and Human Series im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.295,74).
