This artwork by Cang Xin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work To Add One Meter To An Anonymous Mountain sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,574.94) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Cang Xin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Harmony of Nature and Human Series sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,295.74).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Cang Xin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Harmony of Nature and Human Series im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.295,74).
