This artwork by Cang Xin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work To Raise An Anonymous Mountain By One Metre sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,156.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cang Xin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harmony of Nature and Human Series, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,295.74).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Cang Xin erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit To Raise An Anonymous Mountain By One Metre für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.156,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Cang Xin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harmony of Nature and Human Series beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.295,74) versteigert wurde.
