Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work To Raise An Anonymous Mountain By One Meter by Cang Xin. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,543.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Cang Xin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work Harmony of Nature and Human Series was auctioned for GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,295.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit To Raise An Anonymous Mountain By One Meter von Cang Xin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.543,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Cang Xin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2007 die Arbeit Harmony of Nature and Human Series für GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.295,74) versteigert.
