Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Leda Ii by Bryan Hunt was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,333.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bryan Hunt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pangaea II in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 52,808.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Leda Ii von Bryan Hunt kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.333,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Hunt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pangaea II im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 52.808,99).
