Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Blanche Lazzell for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,652.62). This price was achieved in the auction Important Prints and Multiples Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Blanche Lazzell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting Xi (The Windmill) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 505,000.00 (€ 324,550.13).
