Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September last year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction American Works of Art, which included the work Plums by Blanche Lazzell. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,100.00 (€ 5,213.12). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Blanche Lazzell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting Xi (The Windmill) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 505,000.00 (€ 324,550.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion American Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plums von Blanche Lazzell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.100,00 (€ 5.213,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Blanche Lazzell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting Xi (The Windmill) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 505.000,00 (€ 324.550,13).
