Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Giverny, Rosier Et Nymphéas by Blanche Hoschedé-Monet was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,084.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Blanche Hoschedé-Monet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Étang Du Jardin De Claude Monet, which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 172,356.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Giverny, Rosier Et Nymphéas von Blanche Hoschedé-Monet wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 50.084,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Blanche Hoschedé-Monet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Étang Du Jardin De Claude Monet beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 172.356,43) versteigert wurde.
