Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Tulipes (Giverny) by Blanche Hoschedé-Monet was worth EUR 44,100.00 to a buyer in March 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale at Sothebys in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Blanche Hoschedé-Monet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Étang Du Jardin De Claude Monet, which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 172,356.43).

Die Arbeit Tulipes (Giverny) von Blanche Hoschedé-Monet war einem Käufer im März 2021 EUR 44.100,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Blanche Hoschedé-Monet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Étang Du Jardin De Claude Monet beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 172.356,43) versteigert wurde.
