The work La Seine à Eauplet by Blanche Hoschedé-Monet was sold in the Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 30,240.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51 %. Admittedly, works by Blanche Hoschedé-Monet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Étang Du Jardin De Claude Monet in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 172,356.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Seine à Eauplet von Blanche Hoschedé-Monet wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 30.240,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Blanche Hoschedé-Monet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Étang Du Jardin De Claude Monet im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 172.356,43).
