Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern Art | New York, which included the work La Côte à Giverny (Le Coteau) by Blanche Hoschedé-Monet. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,720.00 (€ 24,491.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Blanche Hoschedé-Monet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Étang Du Jardin De Claude Monet in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 172,356.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Côte à Giverny (Le Coteau) von Blanche Hoschedé-Monet zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 24.491,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Blanche Hoschedé-Monet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Étang Du Jardin De Claude Monet im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 172.356,43).
