Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Big Steak by Bendix Harms for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,874.91). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bendix Harms achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled III. 1983. in July 2020 with an auction result of CHF 46,660.00 (€ 43,485.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Big Steak von Bendix Harms für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.874,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bendix Harms erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled III. 1983. im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 46.660,00 (€ 43.485,66).
