Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bendix Harms could be acquired at Phillips in 7 - in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York auction, the work Amok changed hands for USD 826.00 (€ 746.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bendix Harms achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled III. 1983. in July 2020 with an auction result of CHF 46,660.00 (€ 43,485.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bendix Harms konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York wechselte die Arbeit Amok für USD 826,00 (€ 746,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bendix Harms erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled III. 1983. im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 46.660,00 (€ 43.485,66).
