It achieved a price of GBP 2,413.00 (€ 2,808.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barbara Hepworth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Family of Man: Ancestor II in November this year with an auction result of USD 11,565,000.00 (€ 10,602,310.23).

Die Arbeit Three Forms, from Opposing Forms (M. 47, S.A.C. 40) von Barbara Hepworth kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.413,00 (€ 2.808,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Barbara Hepworth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Family of Man: Ancestor II im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.565.000,00 (€ 10.602.310,23).
