The work The Gathering of Swenkas by Bambo Sibiya was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,577.12) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bambo Sibiya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three Men Seated, which sold at auction in October this year for GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,758.36).

Die Arbeit The Gathering of Swenkas von Bambo Sibiya kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.577,12) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bambo Sibiya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Three Men Seated beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für GBP 10.240,00 (€ 11.758,36) versteigert wurde.
