Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Asuka Anastacia Ogawa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Casamento sold for USD 73,080.00 (€ 68,593.96) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Asuka Anastacia Ogawa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Petropolis, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 148,393.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Asuka Anastacia Ogawa erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Casamento für USD 73.080,00 (€ 68.593,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Asuka Anastacia Ogawa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Petropolis beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 148.393,02) versteigert wurde.
