Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Image Object Sunday 2 December 2014 6:08Pm by Artie Vierkant was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,584.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Artie Vierkant - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Image Object Wednesday 6 November 2013 4:53Pm, which sold at auction in March 2016 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,517.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Image Object Sunday 2 December 2014 6:08Pm von Artie Vierkant kam im März 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.584,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Artie Vierkant mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Image Object Wednesday 6 November 2013 4:53Pm beobachtet, die im März 2016 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.517,23) versteigert wurde.
