Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Airfilter And Method Of Constructing Same 10 by Artie Vierkant for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,704.87). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Artie Vierkant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Image Object Wednesday 6 November 2013 4:53Pm in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,517.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Airfilter And Method Of Constructing Same 10 von Artie Vierkant für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.704,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Artie Vierkant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Image Object Wednesday 6 November 2013 4:53Pm im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.517,23).
