Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Artie Vierkant could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Usage Pending changed hands for GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,188.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Artie Vierkant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Image Object Wednesday 6 November 2013 4:53Pm in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,517.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Artie Vierkant konnte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Usage Pending für GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.188,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Artie Vierkant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Image Object Wednesday 6 November 2013 4:53Pm im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.517,23).
