Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Armand Seguin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2000. In the Old Master, Modern & Contemporary Prints auction, the work La Plaine sold for GBP 4,230.00 (€ 6,705.07) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armand Seguin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les délices de la vie in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 7,737,500.00 (€ 6,630,248.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Armand Seguin erzielte im Juni 2000 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master, Modern & Contemporary Prints wurde die Arbeit La Plaine für GBP 4.230,00 (€ 6.705,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armand Seguin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les délices de la vie im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.737.500,00 (€ 6.630.248,50).
