Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bretons by Armand Seguin was sold in the Old Master, Modern & Contemporary Prints auction at Christies in London in June 2000. The price achieved of GBP 2,820.00 (€ 4,470.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armand Seguin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les délices de la vie in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 7,737,500.00 (€ 6,630,248.50).
