Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Sailing vessels on choppy water, a town in the distance by Antonie Waldorp. The price achieved of EUR 35,850.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Antonie Waldorp have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2001 the work A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background was auctioned for EUR 37,600.00.

Im April 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sailing vessels on choppy water, a town in the distance von Antonie Waldorp zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 35.850,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Antonie Waldorp konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2001 die Arbeit A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background für EUR 37.600,00 versteigert.
