Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Keith Richards - Toronto", 1994 by Anton Corbijn. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 115,000.00 (€ 10,522.95), 15% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anton Corbijn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 44,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Keith Richards - Toronto", 1994 von Anton Corbijn zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 115.000,00 (€ 10.522,95) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Corbijn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.100,00.
