Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Sydney held the auction Photographies & Lothar Schirmer's Glamour Collection, which included the work Isabella Rossellini, New York, 1993 by Anton Corbijn. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anton Corbijn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 44,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion Photographies & Lothar Schirmer's Glamour Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Isabella Rossellini, New York, 1993 von Anton Corbijn zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.560,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Corbijn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.100,00.
