Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bed with Colour by Annie Morris was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,780.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annie Morris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stack 9 Ultramarine Blue, 2018 in April last year with an auction result of GBP 201,600.00 (€ 240,400.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bed with Colour von Annie Morris kam im April 2019 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.780,69) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Annie Morris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stack 9 Ultramarine Blue, 2018 im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 201.600,00 (€ 240.400,87).
