Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Untitled (Do. I-Vi) by Anni Albers. The price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,586.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anni Albers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Second Movement I-VI, which sold at auction in April this year for USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,945.65).
