The work Connections by Anni Albers was worth GBP 16,250.00 (€ 17,918.27) to a buyer in September 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anni Albers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Second Movement I-VI, which sold at auction in April this year for USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,945.65).

Die Arbeit Connections von Anni Albers war einem Käufer im September 2020 GBP 16.250,00 (€ 17.918,27) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Anni Albers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Second Movement I-VI beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für USD 44.100,00 (€ 39.945,65) versteigert wurde.
