Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Hon" by Ann Edholm was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 85,000.00 (€ 8,309.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ann Edholm - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "At The Back Of Silence I", which sold at auction in May 2016 for SEK 200,000.00 (€ 21,535.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Hon" von Ann Edholm kam im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 85.000,00 (€ 8.309,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Ann Edholm mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "At The Back Of Silence I" beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für SEK 200.000,00 (€ 21.535,70) versteigert wurde.
