Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Inuk nr. 1" by Ann Edholm was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,502.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ann Edholm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "At The Back Of Silence I" in May 2016 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 21,535.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Inuk nr. 1" von Ann Edholm im April 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.502,72) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ann Edholm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "At The Back Of Silence I" im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 21.535,70).
