Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Painting For A Bookcase by Angela de la Cruz was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in March 2016. The price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,945.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Angela de la Cruz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Knackered in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,865.09).
