Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Dislocated Painting VII (Red) by Angela de la Cruz. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,860.00 (€ 15,915.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angela de la Cruz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knackered, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,865.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dislocated Painting VII (Red) von Angela de la Cruz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.860,00 (€ 15.915,13) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Angela de la Cruz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Knackered beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.865,09) versteigert wurde.
