Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self Clutter (dark green-yellow) by Angela de la Cruz was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2017. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,875.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angela de la Cruz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knackered, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,865.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self Clutter (dark green-yellow) von Angela de la Cruz kam im April 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.875,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Angela de la Cruz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Knackered beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.865,09) versteigert wurde.
