Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Christies in London held the auction First Open | London, which included the work Self Clutter (Orange-Dark Green) by Angela de la Cruz. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,782.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angela de la Cruz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knackered, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,865.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self Clutter (Orange-Dark Green) von Angela de la Cruz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.782,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Angela de la Cruz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Knackered beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.865,09) versteigert wurde.
