Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs Day Sale, which included the work Untitled (Parking Site), Düsseldorf by Andreas Gefeller. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,198.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Andreas Gefeller have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Untitled (Parking Site 1) 2007 from Supervisions was auctioned for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,418.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Parking Site), Düsseldorf von Andreas Gefeller zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.198,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Andreas Gefeller konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2010 die Arbeit Untitled (Parking Site 1) 2007 from Supervisions für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.418,73) versteigert.
