Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Ohne Titel (Parkhaus 1), 2002 by Andreas Gefeller for GBP 250.00 (€ 280.30). This price was achieved in the auction Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andreas Gefeller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Parking Site 1) 2007 from Supervisions in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,418.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Parkhaus 1), 2002 von Andreas Gefeller für GBP 250,00 (€ 280,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andreas Gefeller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Parking Site 1) 2007 from Supervisions im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.418,73).
