Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Andreas Gefeller could be acquired at Phillips in New York in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Untitled, (Leaves), Düsseldorf changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,792.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andreas Gefeller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Parking Site 1) 2007 from Supervisions, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,418.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Andreas Gefeller konnte im Oktober 2015 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Untitled, (Leaves), Düsseldorf für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.792,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Andreas Gefeller mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Parking Site 1) 2007 from Supervisions beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.418,73) versteigert wurde.
