Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Poles 07 from Japan by Andreas Gefeller. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,755.48) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andreas Gefeller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Parking Site 1) 2007 from Supervisions, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,418.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poles 07 from Japan von Andreas Gefeller zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.755,48) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Andreas Gefeller mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Parking Site 1) 2007 from Supervisions beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.418,73) versteigert wurde.
