Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Phillips in Bidding Closes held the auction Unbound: Online Auction, which included the work Baby by Amy Adler. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 813.00 (€ 725.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amy Adler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mike in May 2003 with an auction result of USD 26,290.00 (€ 22,344.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Phillips in Bidding Closes die Auktion Unbound: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baby von Amy Adler zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 813,00 (€ 725,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amy Adler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mike im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 26.290,00 (€ 22.344,04).
