Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included the work Why Would I Lie? by Amy Adler. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,684.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amy Adler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mike in May 2003 with an auction result of USD 26,290.00 (€ 22,344.04).
