A top price for Amy Adler - as previously expected
In May 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Post War and Contemporary (Afternoon Session), which included the work Mike by Amy Adler. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 26,290.00 (€ 22,344.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mike is the most expensive artwork by Amy Adler that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post War and Contemporary (Afternoon Session) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mike von Amy Adler zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 26.290,00 (€ 22.344,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mike das teuerste Kunstwerk von Amy Adler, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
