In October 2019 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Light Bulb 00062C by Amanda Means. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,648.48), 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Amanda Means have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 38,100.00 (€ 44,329.60) in May this year for the work Light Bulb (008BYs).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Light Bulb 00062C von Amanda Means zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.648,48) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Amanda Means haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.100,00 (€ 44.329,60) im Mai diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Light Bulb (008BYs) beobachtet.
