In May 2021 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Light Bulb 00031C by Amanda Means. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 19,530.00 (€ 22,723.61), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Amanda Means have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 38,100.00 (€ 44,329.60) in May this year for the work Light Bulb (008BYs).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Light Bulb 00031C von Amanda Means zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 19.530,00 (€ 22.723,61) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Amanda Means haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.100,00 (€ 44.329,60) im Mai diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Light Bulb (008BYs) beobachtet.
