Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lorenzaccio by Alfons Mucha was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,258.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfons Mucha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl with a Plate with a Folk Motif in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 279,041.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lorenzaccio von Alfons Mucha kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.258,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfons Mucha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Girl with a Plate with a Folk Motif im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 279.041,81).
