Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & MultiplesFeaturing the Arthur N. Gilbert Collection, which included the work The Seasons by Alfons Mucha. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,013.17), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfons Mucha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl with a Plate with a Folk Motif in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 279,041.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & MultiplesFeaturing the Arthur N. Gilbert Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Seasons von Alfons Mucha zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.013,17) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfons Mucha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Girl with a Plate with a Folk Motif im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 279.041,81).
