This artwork by Alfons Mucha achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective auction, the work Mistletoe: Portrait of Mme Mucha sold for GBP 138,600.00 (€ 162,729.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alfons Mucha; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Girl with a Plate with a Folk Motif sold at auction in October 2020 with the realized price of USD 325,000.00 (€ 279,041.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfons Mucha erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective wurde die Arbeit Mistletoe: Portrait of Mme Mucha für GBP 138.600,00 (€ 162.729,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alfons Mucha; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Girl with a Plate with a Folk Motif im Oktober 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 279.041,81).
