This artwork by Alphonse Quizet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2012. In the Impressionist/Modern auction, the work Le Prés-St.-Gervais sold for GBP 6,500.00 (€ 8,081.61) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alphonse Quizet; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Canal d'Aubervillier sold at auction in February 2011 with the realized price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,098.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 86 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alphonse Quizet erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist/Modern wurde die Arbeit Le Prés-St.-Gervais für GBP 6.500,00 (€ 8.081,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alphonse Quizet; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Canal d'Aubervillier im Februar 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.098,17).
