In February 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Weihnachtsbild by Almut Heise. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,198.61), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Almut Heise - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Bar", which sold at auction in December 2020 for EUR 63,963.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Weihnachtsbild von Almut Heise zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.198,61) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Almut Heise mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Bar" beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für EUR 63.963,00 versteigert wurde.
