In June 2020 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam, which included the work Rothaarige (Sarah K.) (Redhead (Sarah K.)) by Almut Heise. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,000.00 71% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Almut Heise achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Bar" in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 63,963.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 71 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rothaarige (Sarah K.) (Redhead (Sarah K.)) von Almut Heise zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Almut Heise erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Bar" im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.963,00.
