Auction result well in line with expectations
The work How to Make a Good Print (State I) by Allen Ruppersberg was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in February 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,977.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allen Ruppersberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paper Drive (For Claire) in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 57,500.00 (€ 51,551.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit How to Make a Good Print (State I) von Allen Ruppersberg wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.977,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allen Ruppersberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paper Drive (For Claire) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 57.500,00 (€ 51.551,01).
